Edward James Chase, Jr., age 80, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007. Army Veteran of WWII. Member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, Hilliard Lion’s Club and American Legion Post 614. He Retired from Texaco. Preceded in death by wife Emily Chase. Survived by sons Dave (Denise) Chase and Kenneth (Elizabeth) Chase both of Hilliard, grandchildren Jamie (Michael) Hissom of Hilliard, Dan Chase of Hilliard, Jared (Sarah) Chase of Plain City, and Nicole Chase of Hilliard, great grandchildren Colleen and Caitlin Hissom and Addison Fritts all of Hilliard and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am Tuesday at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4174 Dublin Rd., Hilliard. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt Carmel Hospice, 793 West State St. Columbus, OH 43222.
