Edward L. Mitchell, age 78 of Derby, died December 22, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center, Columbus. He was born May 22, 1932 in Sedalia, Ohio. He was the son of John and Ethel Mitchell.
He is survived by sons, John Mitchell of Galloway and Aaron Mitchell of Clarksburg; brother Richard Mitchell of Sedalia; sister, Martha Guthrie of London.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation was requested. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. in Pleasant Cemetery on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
