Edwin E. Hall

Colonel, US Army, retired Edwin E. Hall, age 71, of Hilliard, passed away January 13, 2015. Edwin was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army and Ohio National Guard. Member of American Legion and VFW of Hilliard. Longtime member of Hilliard Presbyterian Church and active with Meals on Wheels. He was the first Director of the All American Girls Softball tournament and a coordinator of the Ohio Department of Education’s Troops to Teachers program. Preceded in death by parents Earl and Dorothy Hall and brother David Hall. Survived by loving wife Carol, children Eric (Katherine) Hall and Heather (Andy) Maciejewski, brothers Charles (Billie) Hall, Jerry (Carol) Hall and Bruce (Pat) Hall, sister Elizabeth (Barry) Harper, granddaughter Jessica Maciejewski and a grandson on the way, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of good friends. Family will receive friends Saturday 1-3 pm at the Hilliard Presbyterian Church, 3600 Leap Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard Presbyterian Church or Meals on Wheels program, 670 Harmon Ave., Columbus, OH 43223.
