Eileen Davis

Eileen R. Davis, age 89, passed away the evening of March 8, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Hilliard, OH. Eileen was born January 22, 1925 in Martins Ferry, OH to Ada Ruth and William Edwards. She married the love of her life, David W. Davis on New Year's Day, 1946. Eileen Resided in Grandview Heights and Grove City during the later part of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Grove City. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, David, and her brother, William Edwards. She is survived by her sister, Betty Jean Mattern of AL; daughter, Jo Anne Light; sons, D. William (Gaetana) Davis of St. Clairsville and James Davis of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. Friends may call Tuesday, 11 a.m. until time of procession at 12:30 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH. Entombment and chapel service will be 1 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery.
