Eileen A. Hakes, age 71, born on October 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2007. Graduate of St. Brendan’s High School in Brooklyn. Retired from Nationwide Insurance. Preceded in death by first husband James D. Tracy, husband James E. Hakes Sr., and son, Michael P. Hakes. Mother and Father Irene and Alfred Beaupre, Brother Al Beaupre. Survived by loving sister Jacqueline (Les) Faulk. Children; Suzanne (Jim) Amstutz, James Tracy, Daniel (Susan) Tracy, Jeanine (John) D’Andrea, Kathryn (Tom) Rankin, James Hakes Jr., Steven (Dana) Hakes, and Brigitte Hakes-Kelly. Adored by grandchildren, Mark, Ryan, Jay, Brooke, Lauren, J.J., Danielle, Ethan, Heath, Dawn, Dominic, Giana, Neil, Colleen, Erin, Casey, Tyler, Valerie, Chet, Jarrod, Scott, Sean, Courtney, Charley, Megan and eight beautiful great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law, Woodrow (Ruthanne) Hakes, George (Sherry) Hakes and Sister-in-law Joan Garrett, many nieces and nephews. Eileen surrounded herself with many wonderful lifelong friends. She had a passion for her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call Sunday August 12, 2007 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Prayer service to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 387 Buttles Avenue. Rev. Fr. Ronald Atwood Presiding.
