Eileen Hill

Eileen “Lee” Adele Hill, age 76, of Hilliard, passed away July 24, 2024. Originally from Henry County, Lee attended The Ohio State University. She graduated with a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. Lee was very proud of her tireless efforts working with diverse populations in many settings including supporting Cambodian refugees, teenagers in crisis, the elderly and linking hospital patients with financial and other support resources. She was a member of NASW (National Association of Social Workers) and ultimately retired after working several decades as a devoted Medical Social Worker at Riverside Hospital. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including deep friendships fostered in her professional life, and regular gatherings with her fellow Tigers, Class of 1966, Liberty Center High School. 

Lee was preceded in death by mother Margaret Louise Henderson and husband Thomas Richard Hill. Lee is survived by children Craig Hill (Carrie Killingsworth) and Kristin Hill Waltrip (Chris), grandchildren Shannon Lehwald (Kyle), Thomas Hill, Rowyn Maxwell (Mika Schmidt) and Devin Hill (Caylie Raffelson), and great grandchildren Luke Owen and Lola Jane Lewald. Her warmth, humor and 'Leeisms' will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Saturday August 17, 2024 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
