Eileen A. McCoppin

Eileen A. (Puncsak) McCoppin, 77, passed away on November 4th, 2023.  Eileen was born in Warren, OH on June 30, 1946 to John and Elizabeth (Chorney) Puncsak.  She is survived by her sons Todd (Anne) McCoppin and Scott McCoppin; her grandchildren Ashley (Albert) Guzman, Savannah McCoppin, Brandon McCoppin, Bryant McCoppin, Taylor McCoppin and Nathan McCoppin; and her great grandchildren Apyrl, Austin, Adriana, Ally and Addi Guzman.  Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Frederick McCoppin, her parents and her brother James Puncsak.

Eileen started off as an x-Ray technician, but switched her career to homemaker after her children were born.  She enjoyed her time playing Bingo while at the nursing home with her new found friends. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, going to the beach, and swimming at the YMCA.  But one of her favorite things she cherished was watching her children play sports and then later in life, listening to her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's adventures and activities. She was a strong-willed lady who defied the odds against her. She never muttered the words I wanna quit or give up. No matter how much her body was failing her due to the onslots of MS. She was a true mother through and through that lived for her children. Always putting her family before herself. She demonstrated this routinely leading by example with her very loving and caring nature. She loved her family pets throughout the years as well. Just as if they were one of her children. She will live forever in the hearts of her boys and be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to get to know her.

The family will receive friends for a funeral service for Eileen at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.  A visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 PM.  A service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  After the service, Eileen will be laid to rest at the Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.
