Eleanor E. Payne

Eleanor E. “Betty” Payne, age 79, of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2009. Member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post #614, and V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing games with her family and doing crosswords. She was very artistic and welcoming to all around her. Preceded in death by husband George E. Payne in 2001 and brother Jim Hearn in 2000. Survived by daughter Elizabeth Johnson, brother Michael (Mary Liz) Hearn, sister-in-law Louise Hearn, grandchildren Melynda, Matthew and Mitchel,stepchildren John Payne, Mike Payne and Cathy Frymire, numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, along with other loving relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends 4-7 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Friday at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
