Elmer " Gene" Delp

DELP Gene Delp, age 64, of Hilliard, was born September 16, 1943 to Elmer and Nellie Delp. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam. Gene was self employed in the trucking industry for over 30 years and was an avid sports fan with Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite team. He is survived by his 5 sons, Rob (Vickie), James, Gene, Barron (Christine) and Travis (Jaime); 14 grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, JR, Ellie, Bubby, Jeremy, Jordan, Jarrod, Nicholas, Donovan, Alexia, Bailey, Bradley and Laine; 5 sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and granddaughter McKenzie. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard.
