Eloise McDowell

Eloise McDowell, age 69, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. Graduate of Reynoldsburg High School Class of 1966. Longtime member of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church; where she loved working with the Bread of Life Disciples Food Pantry. She retired from the city of Hilliard as a Finance Clerk and enjoyed camping with family, traveling and activities at the church.  Preceded in death by parents John and Edna Cornell, son Kenneth M. Spencer Jr. and husband Keith Joseph McDowell. Survived by sons Marty J. Spencer and Brian (Bobbie) McDowell, daughters Shelly (Dave) Hudson and Lisa (Michael) Franks, sister-in-law Judy (Larry) Johnson, 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Rev. Karen Asmus-Alsnauer officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church Bread of Life Disciples Food Pantry, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
