WHISNER
Emerson L. Whisner III, age 45, of Grove City, passed away February 28 at his residence. He was an avid golfer who was listed in The Hole in One Almanac. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Cook; grandparents, John and Elizabeth Tigyer; great grandparents, Stephen and Elizabeth Reshan. He is survived by son, Emerson Whisner IV who is an Army Sgt. Mp Corp Division 323 RD CO, daughter, Carla Renee Whisner, who is an OSU sophomore geology major; brother, Andy Whisner; step-brother, Joseph Whisner; sisters, Jennifer and Heidi Whisner; step-sister, Wendy Whisner; uncles, John (Dinah) Tigyer, Jim (Kaye) Tigyer, and Father Jeffrey Tigyer; aunts, Jean Marie Tigyer and Jackie (Terry) Gahm. Emerson will be remembered by his two wonderful children and host of friends. Friends may call Monday from 6-8pm at The Tidd Funeral Home with Crematory at 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 where a memorial gathering will be held Tuesday from 10-11:30 am.
