Eric Rieve

Eric A. Rieve, age 54, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 after a long, courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease. He graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University, Class of “1980”; employed as a C.P.A. and a member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by his father, Milton Riewe. Survived by mother, Aleta Riewe; loving wife of 26 years, Kay Rieve; sons, Patrick Alan Rieve and Kyle Matthew Rieve; brothers, Kurt Riewe and Paul (Lori) Riewe and their children, Caroline and John Riewe; along with numerous loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will take place 3 PM Tuesday at Boulevard Presbyterian Church 1235 Northwest Blvd. Columbus, OH 43212. Family will receive friends from 2:15 PM until the time of the service. A private family graveside service will take place at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at The Columbus Alzheimer’s Center, especially Vera and Dee, and the staff of Acclaim Hospice for their exceptional care of Eric during his illness.
