Escom Skaggs

Escom Skaggs, 91, of Plain City, born March 1, 1917 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Thomas and Sena (Rigsby) Skaggs. He served in the Philippines with the US Army Headquarters Company 2nd Bn. 155 Inf. Reg. 31 Div. during WWII. He was a long time member of Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church and retired from Capital Manufacturing. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Wheeler Skaggs; daughter, Betty Sparks; brothers, Norman, Van and Ballard and sister, Florence Collier. Survived by granddaughter, Sherry (Brian) Pinney; great-granddaughter, Heidi Hall and son-in-law, Darrell Sparks. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Monday at The Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church 6729 Hayden Run Rd Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
