Ethel Mae Lintelman passed away on September 4, 2012, at the age of 95. Born on August 8, 1917, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a long-time resident of Hilliard Ohio. She married Warren Lintelman on June 1, 1946. They enjoyed gardening, bowling and traveling until his untimely death in 1983. Ethel loved flowers and was known for her African violets and the many varieties of orchids that she grew in her own greenhouse. She always enjoyed taking visitors through the greenhouse and oftentimes would send them home with an orchid. For many years, she was an active member of Chapter #109 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile, and served as a volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Ethel is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lintelman and Jill of Hilliard, Ohio, and daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Abrams and Michael of Bolivar, Ohio. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mill Run Gardens for their care and concern, as well as all of Ethel’s special life-long friends. In keeping with Ethel’s wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.
