Ethel P. Ramsey, age 89, of Hilliard, OH passed away on May 9, 2020. She was born in North Industry, OH to Harold and Minetta Stallman on April 20, 1931. Ethel is survived by her daughters: Barb Elliott and Joyce (Jim) Hendershott; grandchildren: Todd Elliott (Sarah Filomeo), Ryan (Rebekah) Hendershott, Trent Elliott (Patrick Beck), Nathan (Amy) Hendershott and Emily (Jacob) Nau; great-grandchildren: Chloe Hendershott, Asa Hendershott, Leah Hendershott and Madelyn Hendershott; brother: Carl Stallman; sister-in-law: Shirley Fannin.

Ethel worked in the Labor Relations Department at Conrail until her retirement. She served on the Railroad Credit Union Board and as secretary for the Railroad Business Women’s Association. After retirement, Ethel was a volunteer at Mt. Carmel West Hospital for 23 years in the Print Shop and the Learning and Education Department. She was a member of Westgate Friends Church for over 40 years, then in her latter years became a member of Dublin Baptist Church.

Ethel lived through many hard times, but her faith in God sustained her. She exemplified how to keep a gentle and loving heart no matter what challenges she faced. Ethel will be remembered most for her servant’s heart. She was known for writing notes of encouragement, and sending cards to family and friends on their birthdays and other special occasions.

Her celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2pm EST at Dublin Baptist Church. Here is the link to view the service:  https://youtu.be/z2wo_khYWSw
