Eugene Donelson

Eugene Donelson, age 90, passed away May 20, 2024 at the Avalon of Lewis Center, Lewis Center, OH. Eugene was a graduate of Sylvania Burnham High School. After high school he went on to become a plumber and pipefitter. He was a member of Local 50 of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry in the Northwest, Ohio area for 69 years. He enjoyed watching the Indy 500 every May and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing. Eugene was also an avid reader of many newspapers and watching the Detroit Tigers baseball. He resided in Sylvania, Ohio until moving to the Columbus area ten years ago. Preceded in death by father Otis Donelson, mother Alma (Haefner) Donelson, wife of 46 years Patricia (Reed) Donelson and brother Clinton Donelson. He is survived by children Scott Donelson and Kelly (Jeffrey) Jones.
