Eva Salzer, age 98, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Carriage Court of Hilliard, OH. Born January 7, 1917 in Ambrust, PA to the late John and Nellie Komko. Member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Ralph R. Salzer; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Survived by children, Diana (Robert) Schnack and Ralph E. (Dianne) Salzer; grandchildren, Lisa (Geoffery) Binkley, R. Andrew (Becca) Salzer, Mark Schnack and Kari (Bryce) Waters; great grandchildren, Ben, Grayson, Addison and Jack; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 225 Schoolhouse Lane, Columbus, OH 43228. Pastor Darren Harbaugh officiating. Committal service will follow at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd. in North Olmsted, OH 44070 and will be presided by Rev. Ronald LePere. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church or VITAS Hospice.
