Evelyn Fisher

Evelyn (Hardesty) Fisher, Formerly of Delaware, OH, passed away December 14, 2015, at her residence in Hilliard, OH. Evelyn was born May 16, 1935 in Allentown, OH, to the late Melvin and Clara Hardesty. Evelyn, during her past, worked at the Boston Store, Delaware Park Care Nursing Facility, Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, and Fiji Fraternity of Ohio Wesleyan University. Her husband, three sons, granddaughters and extended family were her life. She enjoyed watching Ohio State Football, playing solitaire on her laptop, writing stories, knitting, and watching TV. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Barry (Crystal) Fisher of Delaware, OH, Kenneth (Trisha) Fisher of Hilliard, OH; two granddaughters, Michelle Fisher and Stacey (James) Fisher-Aspery; two step granddaughters, Amber Anderson and Logan Thompson. She also has a brother, Melvin Hardesty of Lima, OH; nieces and nephews, and special friends, Michael Williams of Sunbury, OH and Jim and Sandy Anderson of Hilliard, OH, who will miss her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Fisher (1998); son, David Fisher (2012); brothers, Robert and Donald Hardesty; sisters, Thelma Garner and Ula Phillips; and special friend, Lawrence Carter of Maine.

Our family would like to thank the Hospice team for their special caregiving and support during Evelyn's illness.

A private service will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery.
