Evelyn Pearl Starkey

Evelyn Pearl Starkey, age 88, of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to family and caring for others. Preceded in death by husband of 20 years, Ralph T. Starkey, parents Grant and Arletta Black, son Sidney Gamble, 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by children Janice (Bill) Morgan, Mary (Chet) Ball and John (Revy) Starkey, daughter-in-law Judy Gamble, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family would like to give gratitude to special caregivers Betty and Ron. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 1 pm Friday with Danny Vanscoy officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to, Alzheimer’s Association, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH 43221. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
