Everett Preston, Jr.

Everett Preston, Jr., age 81, of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2010 with his family by his bed side. Longtime member of Hayden Baptist Church, Chandlersville Masonic Lodge #858, Kentucky, a certified wood craft man and a wonderful jokester. Preceded in death by parents Everett and Mae Preston and sister Wilma Faye Borders. Survived by loving wife of 60 years Phyllis, children Everett Russell (Tina) Preston of Gray Court, SC, Dave (Debbie) Preston of Hilliard, Tim (Brenda) Preston of Marysville and Debbie (Matt) Minton of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren David (Lesa) Preston, Kevin (Stephanie)Preston, Keith (Brooke) Preston, Codie Preston, Michael David Minton, Joanna Childers, Michael King, Summer Storey, Rob, Kyle, and Lynsie Oser, great grandchildren Austin, Sydney, Samantha, Taylor Preston, Gage Calhoon, Ava Oser, Andre, Devin and Darion, brother-in-law Douglas Borders of River, KY, sister-in-law Sue Lemaster of Flat Gap, KY, numerous nieces, nephews, a host of friends and his church family. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A Masonic Service will be held 7:30 pm Wednesday. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at Hayden Baptist Church, 6729 Hayden Run Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; with Rev. Bill Webb and Rev. John Meade officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hayden Baptist Church.
