Florence C. McCarty, age 85, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Born September 24, 1930 in Columbus, OH. Graduate of Central High School Class of 1948 and a member of the Central High School Association. Preceded in death by son, Patrick McCarty, Sr.; brother, Charles Voss; mother, Muriel Voss; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Lona McCarty. Survived by husband of 65 years, John McCarty; son, Tim (Nancy) McCarty; daughter-in-law, Carolyn McCarty; grandchildren, Brad (Jessica), Kevin, Craig (Katie), Patrick II (Shanna) and Chris (Jill); great grandchildren, Kaden, Kale, Dylan, Tyler, Ryan, Christopher, Patrick III, Elaine, Izzabelle and Hannah; great-great grandchild, L.J.; sister, Verna DeVito; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH where funeral service will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. Reverend Ed Sensenbrenner officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
