Florence Rings

Florence Rings, age 106, of Dublin, passed away December 19, 2022. She was a graduate of Hilliards High School and The Ohio State University. Florence was a teacher at Worthington and Columbus City Schools and a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Florence was a farmer’s wife and mother. She was preceded in death by parents Christian and Magdalena Grener, husband Melvin Rings, brother Kermit Grener, sisters Norma Grener and Mary Grubbs. Survived by children Jim (Debbie) Rings and Cathy (Steve) Armstrong, grandchildren Bart (Rebecca) Rings, Billy (Hannah) Rings, Mary Carol Armstrong and Betsy (Dwight) Lowe, great grandchildren Paul, Isla, Waylon, Case, Walker, Joanna, Julia, Jenna, Jane, Jennifer and Jaia. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 10am-11am at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd, Dublin, OH 43016; where funeral service will follow at 11am with Adam Steinbrenner officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church. Arrangements completed by the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hilliard, OH.
