Florence Wuertz

Florence “Vollrath” Wuertz, age 96, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010. Born May 18, 1914 at Chuckery to George and Anna “Renner” Vollrath. Married Ernest Wuertz November 11, 1934 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Chuckery. Member of St. John Lutheran Church, Dublin. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest; daughter, Edna Woodard; parents; sisters, Hulda Rausch and Barbara Moder; and brothers, Hugo and Carl Vollrath. Survived by sons, George (Haila) of Tempe, AZ, Don (Karma) of Delaware, OH and Dennis (Carolyn) of Maysville, KY; son-in-law, Jerry Woodard of Fredricksburg, TX; sister-in-law, Jane Vollrath; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. John Lutheran Church 6135 Rings Rd. Dublin, OH 43016 or The Lutheran Hour. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-7pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service to be held 10am Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Milford Center, OH.
