Floyd Belt

Floyd F. Belt, age 90, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, October 08, 2012. Member of St. John Lutheran Church Dublin, OH. US Army Veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theater. He was employed with Marysville Union County Journal Tribune and retired from National Graphics. Member of CWA-ITU Local 4320. Preceded in death by first wife Donna Belt, second wife Libby Belt, son Robert Belt and stepson James Watkins. Survived by loving wife Gertrude, son Roger (Jill) Belt, stepchildren John (Beth) Watkins, Jerry (Cindy) Watkins and Joellen Brula, step daughter-in-law Marianne Watkins, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 1-3 and 5-7 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Friday with Pastor John Greig and Gil Duchow officiating. Interment Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
