Frances Irene Fitzsimmons

Frances Irene Fitzsimmons, age 90, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. She was a member of Riverside Methodist Church; retired from the State of Ohio, Department of Worker’s Compensation; worked at Curtis Wright and St. Ann’s Hospital. She enjoyed reading and working in her garden. Preceded in death by husband John A. Fitzsimmons and son Randall E. Fitzsimmons. Survived by sons Desmond (Ruth) E. Fitzsimmons and Gregory J. Fitzsimmons, step-daughter Joan D. Nicholson, granddaughter Samantha K. Fitzsimmons, grandson Ethan J. Fitzsimmons, daughter-in-law Barbara Corbitt, sister-in-law Janie Clifford, along with numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and friends. Family will receive from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday, March 26 at The Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 27. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery.
