Frances Louise Shrum Lahrmer

Frances Louise Shrum Lahrmer, age 90, of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday October 21, 2009 at The Arbors of Delaware. Born July 17, 1919 in Hilliard, OH. Daughter of Alfred Francis Shrum and Bessie Bell Orahood. Graduated from Hilliard’s High School Class of 1937 and Columbus Business University Class of 1940. Retired Secretary from Columbus City Schools. Preceded in death by husband, William S. Lahrmer (1982); companion, Kendall Hugh Speicher; son, Allen Francis Lahrmer; brothers, William, Fredrick, and Edgar Shrum. Survived by son, William S. Lahrmer; daughter, Betsi A. Lahrmer; sister, Helen Hall; 5 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will take place Monday at 10am with Rev. Michael C. Reynolds officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel.
