Frances Simon

Frances (Fran) Simon, age 80, of Portsmouth, OH, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Heartland of Dublin after a 14 month battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Simon. She is survived by son Randy (Tammy) Simon, daughter Lana (Dave) Ahlum, brother, 2 sisters, grandchildren Randi (Josh) Green, Laacy (Joseph) Smith, Jennifer Simon, Amy (Daniel) Parton, Chris (Heather) Ahlum, and 9 great grandchildren. Her favorite things she enjoyed and passed along to everyone was her embroidery of pillow cases and baking (everyone wanted her brownies). Family will receive friends 10-11 am Tuesday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
