Frances Stormont

Frances M. Stormont, age 77, of Columbus, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Doctor’s West Hospital. She was a graduate of Hilliard High School class of 1950. She was an active member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, volunteer of Betty Zenker Cancer Ray, and Doctor’s West Hospital. Previously employed by General Motors, Avon, and Sears Distribution. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Edward and Eva Marie Hart and brother, Wayne Hart. She is survived by loving husband of 58 years, Robert E. Stormont; sons, Gregory (Rachel) Stormont and Douglas Stormont; daughter, Janice (Greg) Bell; grandchildren, Amy, Andy, Nicole, Jennifer, Grant, Mitchell, and Jillian; 6 great grandchildren; nephew, John (Patsy) Hart; along with numerous loving relatives and friends. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A funeral service will be held 11am Friday at Columbia Heights United Methodist Church 775 Galloway Rd. Galloway, OH 43119 where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
