Francis Kembitzky

Francis “Joe” Kembitzky Jr., age 86, passed away April 27, 2021. Graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School Class of 1952. Retired electrician from Electric Power Equipment Company and Romanoff Electric. Member of I.B.E.W Local Union 683, Sons of the American Revolution and active member of Janis Center Railroad Club. Joe enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes and was an avid Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Mary Kembitzky Sr., brother Richard Kembitzky, sister Mary Francis Hickey and son-in- law Bud Wayman. Survived by loving wife of 65 years Barbara, children Karen Sue Ecker, Stephanie Lynn (Thomas) Smith, Marsha Kay Wayman, Francis Joseph (Denise) Kembitzky, Elizabeth Maria (Jack) Perry and Richard Gregory (Kimberle) Kembitzky, grandchildren Aaron, Courtney, Natalie, Jessica, Heather, Jacqueline and Sara, 15 great grandchildren, longtime Army buddy Jim Berger and family, many loving relatives, friends, neighbors and beloved pets. A celebration of life service will be held 2 pm Monday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Private inurnment Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
