Frank Dado

Frank Dado was born April 10, 1944 at Majestic, Ky, son of the late Lewis; Teresina Clusky Dado. After 14 months of chemo and remission, the leukemia cancer returned. He passed away at the James Cancer Hospital Saturday, May 5, after treatment on a clinical trial drug. Although his body fought that disease and clinical treatment, there was no recovery and his final healing came when God called him home. Frank was the youngest of 6 boys: Joe, Ralph, Jr., Jimmy and Vic and there were 3 sisters: Nannie who passed away 7 years ago, Mary and Darlene. He would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Carol Sipple Dado in October. They were blessed to spend many wonderful years together celebrating with their beloved family. Known for his generosity, wit, creativity, easy going & humble attitude, Frank will be missed by his three children, Lora, Lisa (Dan); Aric, and six grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Rylie, Wyatt, Madison; Brody, as well as neighbors, extended family and friends. Over the years, he spent hours reading, researching; thinking thru Bible history, how it applied to daily living. He believed God’s Word to be true then and for the future. I Corinthians 13:12: “For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” He is enjoying full knowledge with the Savior! A Celebration of Life service was held at Tidd Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor David Holdren, on May 8 at 11:00am. He will be missed!
