Frank Tornabene

Frank Tornabene, age 81, of Dublin, OH, a native of Syracuse, NY went to Heaven to be with our Savior on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Born in Syracuse to the late Anthony and Santa Tornabene, Frank was a graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of 1955 and a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked in manufacturing his entire career. Frank and his wife Julie recently moved to Dublin. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of nearly 53 years, Julie (McCabe) Tornabene, his sister Rosalie (George) Mussi of Westerville, OH, daughter Julie (David) Evangelisti, of Dublin, son Anthony (Lisa Farewell) Tornabene of Syracuse, grandchildren Gianni, Sophia and Dominick Evangelisti and Anthony, Aidan and Callen Tornabene, niece Jennifer (Bruce) McClary of Galena, OH, nephews George (Valerie) Mussi of Grove City, OH and Anthony John Mussi, of Columbus and their families, the extended and loving McCabe Family, and many friends. “Friendly Frank”, as he was known in his neighborhood in Syracuse, loved cars, music, the New York Yankees and his family. He never met a stranger and would talk to a wooden Indian! Frank was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Syracuse and attended St. Brigid of Kildare Church in Dublin. His family will receive friends from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2019 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 where his Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation and begin at 11:00a.m. THURSDAY with The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
