Frederick Woda

Frederick Woda, age 69, of Hilliard, passed away June 28, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Fred was employed with Bobby Layman Chevrolet for 15 years and was an intricate part of starting Woda Automotive with his son. He was an avid Ohio sports fan and enjoyed golfing. Preceded in death by parents Elmer and Julia Woda, brother Russ Woda and son Scott Porterfield. Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Sandra, children, Bob Woda, Dennis Woda, Jim (Dee) Porterfield, Tammy Vance, Donald (Tanja) Woda, Fred Jr. (Beckie) Woda, Randy Woda and Michael (Susan) Woda, grandchildren Robyn, Denise, Jennifer, Spencer, Quincey, George, Sara, Brittany, Megan, Lexie, Aaron, Taylor, Megan, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Heidi, Brandon, Brooklyn, Hope and Brayden, 3 great grandchildren and many good friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday with Father Raymond Larussa officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to the entire staff at The Zangmeister Center.
