Garnard Miller

Garnard W. Miller, 51, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011. He worked for 35 years in the farming industry with his cousins, the Shawhan family. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda K. Miller. Survived by parents, Ruth and James Miller; the loves of his life, Cathy and Justin Price; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and their families; Cathy Price’s family and his four-legged companions, Bootsy, Camry, and Lucy. Garnard was known as a hard-working, faithful, and trustworthy man. He had unconditional love and friendship to all those in his life and he was known to do anything for anyone. He was an avid Nascar fan, loved collectible tractors and cars, and had an appreciation for good food. Most of all, he was a wonderful father to Justin. He will be greatly missed by anyone and everyone that he came in contact with. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday at Valley View Memorial Gardens 170 North Valley Rd. Xenia, OH. The services are open to all who wish to attend. There will be a gathering of family and friends following services at The home of John and Mary Shawhan 3490 Selma Jamestown S. Charleston, OH.
