Gary L. Swisher 64 of Hilliard, OH passed on Nov. 7,2018 at Kobacker House. He was born in Columbus to Ben Swisher who preceded him in death and Shirley (Sensabaugh) McLurg of Hilliard. Gary is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen (Strayer) and 6 children Heather (Allen)Elliott, Danielle (Cody) Mason, Natalie (Cliff) Claypool, Tina (Joe) Dihrkop, Anita Esquinas, Daniel (Gina) Esquinas, 13 grandchildren, and 5 greatgrandchildren. 4 siblings Nancy (Bill) Jackson, Sandy McLurg, Doug (Nancy) McLurg, Michael (Barb) McLurg and many cousins. Gary was much loved by his family and friends who considered him an outstanding husband, father, and grandfather. A family visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 2 PM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 which will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Otie’s Tavern and Grill in downtown Hilliard from 2 to 4 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
