Gary Van Dyne

Gary Kevin Van Dyne, 61, passed away on January 18, 2021.  He was born on August 18th, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Van Dyne, two sons, Tyler Van Dyne (Jamie) and Nicholas Van Dyne (Leslie), and three step-daughters Sara Neal, Olivia (Tom) Leyland, and Cassidy (Adam) Brockett. Kevin was a loving grandfather “Papa K” to Sophia and Everett Van Dyne and Graham Leyland. He is also survived by his parents, Gary (Peg) Van Dyne and Suzanne Henwood (Steven), sister Chris Van Dyne-Evans, brother TR Van Dyne (Tina), stepbrother Leland Henwood (Kelli) and stepsisters Sarah Franke (Doug) and Tami Camp (Jim). He is and was loved by several nieces and nephews. Kevin worked for PK Controls as an electrician. His family and friends will always remember him as a hardworking, family loving, sports fanatic and an amazing grill master/cook. His love was known for family, golf, the LA Dodgers, Joe Namath, the LV Raiders, and Corvettes, especially his ‘78 red Corvette named “Lucy”.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kevin's life at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, Ohio 43026 on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021. The viewing will be open from 12pm-2pm followed by the funeral service for immediate family and close friends. Social distancing and masks will be expected and required during the event.
