Gene Harold Hanlin, age 87, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Emerald Crossing Care Center in Dublin, OH. Born March 28, 1927 in Colliers, WV to the late Harold and Sue (Armistead) Hanlin. Retired officer and WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. Employed by Weirton Steel for 32 years.
Member of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. Also preceded in death by son, Alex Hanlin; sister, Wilda Mills. Survived by daughter, Kelly (Greg) Rogers; sons, Brian and Paul (Kim) Hanlin; sisters, Carol Deluca and Marian Cunningham; grandchildren, Alex, Casey, Lori, Isaiah, Aidan, Noah, and Brenna.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH.
