Geneva Ann Day

Geneva Ann Day, age 42, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Member of Hilltop Community Full Gospel Church. A teacher at the Westside Christian Academy. She received The Scott Wilcox Award from Hilliard High School and a Gold Seal, the highest honor from her work with the Girl Scouts. Preceded in death by parents Ruth and Henry Day. Survived by siblings Sandra (Lee) Day Bjerke of Minneapolis, MN, Henry (Leslie) H. Day, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL., Karen Sue (Mahendra “Rajesh”) Samkaran of Galloway, Barry Gene Day of Minneapolis, MN, Lloyd Dean Day of Hilliard, Ronald Ryan Day of Columbus, nieces and nephews, Austin, Jeffery Jr., Abigale, Alyssa, Madison, Melissa, D’Arcy, Sarah, Thomas, Jennifer, Jeffery, Adam, Eric, Michael, Jessica, Lane, Marin, and Kadence, special friends Stacy Hoffman, Sally Blair, Jana Eden, and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday with Pastor Leanne Pardon officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or the church.
