Geneva Spring

Geneva Larue Spring, age 102, formerly of Galloway and Powell, Ohio, died peacefully on March 21, 2015. Born in Hilliard, Ohio on January 11, 1913 to the late Charles and Frances Ramey, and preceded in death by husband Elmo, infant twin son and son Charles Alfred Spring, brothers Lawrence and Charles "Ralph" Ramey and sister Anna Jeanette (Wilson) Matula. Survived by grandsons, Gary (Terri) Spring, Powell, Ohio, Dale (Vicki) Spring, Dublin, Ohio; devoted daughter-in-law, Alice Spring, Powell, Ohio; great grandchildren, Zachary and Kylie Spring; step great grandson, Sal Caradonna; step granddaughter, Kim Spring; and daughter-in-law, Sue Ellen Spring, Texas; sister, Virginia (Lloyd) Smith; and cousin, Francis Russell; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A 1930 graduate of Hilliard High School and Bliss Business College, Geneva was a most loving and devoted farm wife and the very best grandmother two grandsons could ever hope to have. She truly molded their lives. In addition, Geneva also was employed and retired from COBA/Select Sires. A member of Farm Bureau, Grange and Eastern Star, and Hilliard United Methodist Church and chief cook and bottle washer of Elm Lea Farms. You are invited to share and celebrate a "Life Well Lived" with her family at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon.
