George Enesey

George P. Enesey, a man of grace, wisdom, tenacity, and great spirit finally wore himself out of life on November 26, 2014. Whatever he gathered over the long span of his 88 years was given back to the world in better form and in greater quantities without restraint or reservation. He lived several lifetimes through the upheavals of the 20th century, beginning in Budapest, Hungary and ending in Columbus, Ohio, with a long sojourn spent in Southern California. He made his living as an architect, but his true professions were as mentor, scholar, artist, cavalryman and lover of horses. His quiet faith and stoic demeanor was an inspiration to those around him and served to carry him through difficulties which, rather than bringing him down, merely provided him with more material to weave into the world. He will be sorely missed by those he touched, but will live on in their memories and in the many gifts he left behind. A funeral mass will be held at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43221 on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 9:00 AM. Father Dan Ochs officiating. All are welcome.
