George McCann

George R. McCann, age 67, of Hilliard, on Eagles wings, after a courageous and lengthy journey, George peacefully left us in the early morn of January 25, 2016. He was in the presence of his beloved Diana and family members who have faithfully maintained a bedside vigil and comforted him these last days of his life. George was a wonderful beloved husband, father, partner and friend. He will always remain in our hearts and memories. George is survived by his wife, Diana McCann of Hilliard, OH, daughters, Shannon Rand (Warren) of South Salem, NY, Stephanie Heistand of Lancaster, OH, Tara Ingram (Leon) of Obetz, OH, Elizabeth Bruno of Reynoldsburg, OH, eleven grandchildren, Sawyer, Avery, Ellie, Adam, Alex, Aidan, Breña, Ava, Zavier, Noel and Keren and great grandchild, Harper; sisters, Christy Tidwell of Zionsville, IN, Pamela von Rahl (Ernst) of Mishawaka, IN, Lorrie Twainy (Alfred) of Las Vegas, NV, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Frieda R. McCann of Springfield, Ohio. George was a successful business man and attorney, but his greatest achievement and his constant joy was being the best husband, father, grandfather and friend. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28 at Northwest Bible Church, 6639 Scioto Darby Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026; where the funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016, with interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hilliard.
