George Miller III

George Miller III, age 40, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday evening February 25, 2016 at The Ohio State Medical Center, where he is now at peace and with his loving Lord. He is preceded in death by grandfather Norbert G. Ward, who was his greatest hero. Graduated from Hilliard High School Class of 1994, where he was a member of Ohio Capital Conference Champions and Regional Champions Division I football team. George also was a two time state champion wrestler in Division I. He is survived by his most precious treasure; son Jacob Cole Miller, grandmother Patricia Ward, his loving parents Mick and Becky McFarland, loving sisters Sahara Morgen, Tricia (Steve) Schmitthauer, Jackie Collins, brother Erik (Erika), nieces and nephews Caroline Ward, Jack and Robert Schmitthauer, great-aunt Catherine (Robert) Lee, uncles David (Yvonne) Ward and Niels Ward, aunts Mary Miller and Elizabeth (James) Quarandillio, and many friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday March 1, 2016 at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026, from 11am-1pm; where a funeral service will be held 1pm. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Following the graveside service everyone is invited to the Hilliard VFW post No. 4931 for a bereavement meal, 2436 Walcut Rd. Columbus, OH. In honor of George’s wishes, he would want everyone to celebrate his life and to be happy and he would appreciate everyone wearing The Ohio State University attire for the service.
