George Schatz

George W. Schatz , age 82, of Hilliard, passed away November 2, 2009. Member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Dublin OH. George was a Planning & Development Administor for the City of Dayton and a Miami Valley Hospice Volunteer. Preceded in death by Father & Mother Eldon & Lucille Schatz and wife Juanita (Mae) Schatz and sister in-law Martha Schatz. Survived by wife Marvel (Joan) Schatz, brother Walter E. (Rhee) Schatz of Columbus, sister Shirley (Paul) Mouser of London, step-children Rodney (Jan) Gossard of Shreveport, LA, Cynthia (Anthony) Susi of Columbus, OH, Ruth (Stephen) Russell of Plain City, OH and numerous family and relatives. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, OH 43016 with visitation 1 hour prior to the time of service. Rev. John Greig officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House or St. John's Historical Lutheran Fund.
