George Strahler

George W. Strahler, 76, of Hilliard, passed away April 23, 2012. He was a graduate of Waterford High School and attended The Ohio State University where he was a member of The Ohio State Marching Band. He retired from Scioto Paper Products and was an avid sports fan. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley, son, James Bradley, and beloved parents Gladys and James Strahler.
Survived by daughters Cynthia Sue (Jon) Gibson and Helen Christine (Frank) Barnett; grandchildren, Lindsey Jay Barnett, Frank H. Barnett, Justin Lee Barnett, James Bradley Strahler Jr., Skyler William Strahler and their mother Tami Jones Strahler, Erica Christine Gibson, and Jon Christopher Gibson Jr., brothers, Dan (Sarah) Strahler and David (Barbara) Strahler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends 2:00-2:30 PM Saturday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a memorial service will take place at 2:30 PM.
