Glenn Eugene Darst, 64 of Mt. Sterling, died unexpectedly, August 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was a member of Monroe Men’s Club; Volunteer Fire Fighter; Harrisburg Seniors; and former Coach of Little League Baseball.
Preceded in death by his parents, Chancey and Evalyn Darst.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Rob (Joann) Darst; daughter, Brenda (David) Downs; 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Nick, and Tyler;
Brother, Ron (Molly) Darst; sisters Linda (Jack) Willis, Susie (Charles) Zaenglein; Several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. John Colburn officiating with the interment following in Darbyville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2009 from
3 – 8 p.m.
