Harold Alvin “Alvie” Henry, 61 of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Kobacker House (Riverside) in Columbus.
He was born June 12, 1948 in Coumbus, Ohio.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marjorie (Swyers) Henry; brothers Robert, James, and Maynard Henry.
He is survived by children Heath (Billy Joe) Henry, Andrea Henry, Nick (Barbie) Henry, Brandi Henry; step-children Hollie Jenkins Baxster and Troy Jenkins; grandchildren Shyann Henry, Cameron Henry, Austin Henry, Miley Henry, Adrianna Spangler, Brianna Baisden, Savannah and Wisteria Tayim; step-grandchildren Makayla Jenkins, Kennedy Bobo, Faith and Donovan Jenkins, Harley and Riley Jenkins, Cheyanne and Hannah Millington, Kaylee and Samantha Cooper; sisters Evelyn Rice, Carol (Gordon) Russell.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Pastor Ruth Pribe officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m.
The family wishes to extend an invitation of food and fellowship at the American Legion Post in Mt. Sterling following the graveside committal.
