Harold Carter

Harold Carter, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Preceded in death by first wife Iris, parents Raymond and Esther Carter and brother Chet Carter. U.S. Navy Veteran. Member of First Presbyterian Church of London and member of West Gate Masonic Lodge #623. He was an avid Buckeye sports fan, a Buckeye Booster, West High Alumni, and he was a retired bank manager and auditor for National City Bank. Survived by loving wife Donna, daughters Denise (Todd) Martin and Nikki (Darrell) Richardson, granddaughter Cherina Scholl, grandsons Trent and Tyler Martin, great grandson Ashton Scholl, sister Norma Miles, niece Pam Heyl, nephew Fred (Jill) Heyl, great nephews Ben and Justin Gassman and many friends and neighbors. Family will receive friends Monday 6-8:30 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Memorial service will be held 11 am Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church of London, 211 Garfield Ave., London, OH with Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating. Family inurnment will be held at Somerset Cemetery at a later date. In honoring Harold’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of London.
