Harold E. Moore

Harold E. Moore, age 86, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Madison House in London, Ohio.  Harold was a graduate of Columbus Central High School, Class of 1954 and was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He retired as a Lieutenant with the Columbus Police Department.  Harold was preceded in death by his son Jim A. Moore.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret J. “Peggy” Moore, his children Cherie (Malcolm) Ramey and Terry Moore, five granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and his sister Cindy (Paul) Wright.  Private family services were held.  Burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
