Harry Earl Miller, age 88, of Hilliard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord peacefully from his home, Sunday, October 1, 2017. Born April 12, 1929 in Lawrence County, Ohio, Harry was United States Army veteran who served in Germany during the Korean War era. He was a carpenter who loved working in his shop. Harry loved to golf. He worked for the Upper Arlington City Schools in the Maintenance Department. He also did numerous remodeling jobs over the years. Harry attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Galloway, Ohio. He was a 55+ year member of Capital City Lodge #656, F&A.M., a Scottish Rite Mason-Valley of Columbus and a member of Aladdin Temple Shrine. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Miller and his sister, Jennie Depriest. He is survived by his brothers: Orville Miller, Warren Miller (Virginia), Ronald Miller (Dorothy); sister, Gloria Knece (Paul), daughter Debi Tomaso (Chris); grandchildren Lindsey Tomaso and Christopher Tomaso; great-grandchildren CJ, Aiden and Teagan Murphy. Florence and Harry enjoyed their retirement for over 25 years and he was surrounded by loved ones up to his last day. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00p.m. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2017 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 6:00p.m. with Military Honors following.
