Harvey Neumann, age 59, of Linda Rd., Hilliard, was found dead on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009 from causes accumulating due to over all ill health. Born September 17, 1950 in Columbus to Eugene Neumann (3/13/1998) and Mildred Plank Neumann (6/17/1952). He was raised in Hilliard by Eugene and new mother, Beverly Kinney Miner Neumann (5/4/2007). At age 16 he left school and entered the military during the Vietnam War. Harvey was not suited for that life. After an administrative discharge, he spent much of his life unemployed or doing temporary labor. For a few years, he developed some skill at welding in refrigeration factories. He lived for nearly 20 years in Florida, where he pursued his enjoyment of fishing, card games, and cats, before returning to Hilliard in 2005. On December 3, 2009 he will be buried near his parents and others of his extended maternal family-the Kinney’s and Miner’s at Butler Cemetery, Butler, IN. Harvey is survived by his daughter Jennifer Neumann and grandson Chase of Columbus, his older brother James Neumann and niece Nerissa Neumann Miles Benner of Bourbon, IN; his younger sister, Jeanie Neumann, and her husband Richard Holti, and nephew Damien Holti and niece Elizabeth Holti of London England. Family requests no flowers. Donation in Harvey’s name may be made to Volunteers of America-Men’s Services, 624 Harmon Ave. Columbus, OH.
