Hazel Bayes, age 88, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Member of Big Darby Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Jay M. Bayes (1992) and brother Bill Brown. Survived by children Sharon (Don) Fugette of Lexington, KY, Saundra Parpolowicz of Dothan, AL, and Diane (Darrell) Daniels of Hilliard, OH, sister Ellania Niemic, grandchildren, Michele Donaldson, Kevin Fugette, Tonya Drake, Sonya Morris, Debbie Turner, Diane McMurtry, Bill McMurtry, Danielle Rumer-Daniel, and Darren Daniels, great grandchildren Nathaniel, Abigail, Sara, Hannah, Nicholas, Alyssa, Christina, Bradley, Billy, Phillip, Joshua, Diana, Sondra, Thomas, Kaile, Sadie, Mason, Lindsey, Jacob, Nathaniel, and Mandi great great grandchildren Drake and Grace, numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Friday with Pastor George Miller officiating. Graveside service 3:30 Friday at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KY with Bill Honerkamp officiating.
